Quotes:"Let's get dangerous"
Darkwing Duck greets his enemies with the line, "I'm the terror that flaps in the night"Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck is a light-hearted, carefree bird who is often seen with his on- again, off- again friends Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang. Wacky and Zany, he is a very clever schemer.
Daffy first appeared in Porky's Duck Hunt, which was directed by Tex Avery and animated by Bob Clampett on April 17, 1937. It was the duo that consisted of Daffy Duck and Porky Pig that truly made Warner Bros. cartoons move in the direction of "funny" as Daffy boldly, outlandish and often times noisily stood up to Porky, the hunter.
While Daffy as a character has changed over the years (dependent on the cartoonist, writer and team behind him,) one thing has always remained the same... he has and will always be a zany duck, full of antics that truly put the "looney" in Looney Tunes!
Daffy Duck & Porky Pig in "Yankee Doodle Daffy"
Howard The Duck was a heroic pond lover living in Duck World until one unfortunate or fortunate day he was brought to Earth, specifically Cleveland,Ohio by a laser beam and saved the planet. In Cleveland he met a struggling female musician who nicknamed him, Ducky. He was a master of Quack Fu and used it to ward off enemies. Although a duck anatomically, Howard is unable to swim or fly and speaks fluent English.
The Aflac Duck
The Aflac insurance plan's spokesman of a feathery complexion was introduced in December 1999. The un-named water swimmer is enshrined on Madison Avenue's Walk of Fame. The duck was voiced by Gilbert Gottfried until recently when he was relieved from his position leaving the world with a mute bird. The duck will now be voiced by a television advertising sales manager hailing from Hugo, Minnesota, breathing new life and a voice into a once silenced fowl.
Melissa Duck
(Daffy's Girlfriend)
Melissa Duck is Daffy's blond girlfriend. Not making much of an appearance in Looney Tunes episodes which were primarily dedicated to the boys, Melissa can mostly be seen in her notable role on Baby Looney Tunes.
